As Hull City striker Oscar Estupinan is on his way to Metz, the South Americna media continues to bring more details on this transfer.

Journalist Cesar Luis Merlo writes on Twitter that the player is on his way to France for the medicals.

It’s claimed that Hull City’s initial intention was to sell the player on a outright deal, but that isn’t happening.

So Metz are set to sign Estpuinan on a loan, for which they’ll pay €2m. Then they’ll have an option to buy him for €4m.

According to Merlo, that’s a done deal.

Estupinan leaves Hull City after just one year, as he arrived last summer on a free transfer from Vitoria Guimarães.

In his first year with the Tigers, he had 13 goals and one assist in 37 appearances. Since the start of the 2023/24 season, he had one goal in five appearances.

Hull City seemed pretty interested in having him sold, especially because they’re making some quick profit with a player who arrived for free. Now we shall see whether Metz will get convinced to buy him next summer.

Hull City have reportedly joined the battle for the signing of FC Utrecht winger Othmane Boussaid.

Dutch outlet Voetbal International today features a piece claiming the 23-year-old is set to move out of the country this summer, as European sides are keen on signing him.

Union Saint-Gilloise are those trying to bring him to Belgium, while Hull City are pushing for his move to England.

It’s claimed that the Tigers have ‘recently joined’ the race for his signing, as they’re ‘particularly impressed’ with his numbers playing for FC Utrecht.

Voetbal International highlights how Boussaid is ‘technically skilled’, and that has been drawing Hull City’s attention for a potential summer move.

Since his contract with FC Utrecht expires next summer, the Dutch side are now going through the difficult decision of whether to sell him now or risk losing him for free.

It isn’t said how much Hull City would be keen on spending on his signing this summer, as the player is currently valued by Transfermarkt at €2.2m. The Tigers must also watch the competition from Union Saint-Gilloise.

South American journalist Cesar Luis Merlo today features some news on the future of Hull City striker Oscar Estupiñan.

On Twitter, he reports that ‘various clubs’ in Spain have been showing their interest in the Tigers’ player.

Granada and Real Valladolid are two of the clubs who want the Hull City striker, but it’s not yet said whether they have made official attempts to get him so far.

It’s said Estupiñan could leave the Championship side on a loan with an option or an obligation for a purchase, although there’s apparently no price set for that.

The centre-forward has a contract with Hull running until 2025, and is currently valued by Transfermarkt at €5m.

He arrived at Hull City on a free move from Vitória Guimarães last summer, and in his first season at the club, scored 13 championship goals. This season, he has one goal in four appearances so far, and is mostly being used in the final minutes of games.

That’s a situation which should encourage him to leave, although the departure will likely depend on how good the offers end up being.

Hull City striker Benjamin Tetteh is on his way out of the club, according to reports.

Journalist Sacha Tavolieri claims the 26-year-old is moving to France, as Metz have a ‘done deal’ for his signing.

The Ligue 1 side are reportedly paying Hull City €1.8m for the signing, and he actually already signed a three-year contract with them.

That’s the end of a short spell the player had with the Tigers, as he only played for the club for one season.

Tetteh arrived at Hull on a free transfer from Turkish side Yeni Malatyaspor last summer. In his year in England, he only had one goal and four assists for the club.

The striker even had a few chances to prove himself by the start of the season, but then ended up staying out of the matchday squads for long periods.

So despite a contract until 2024, which had an option for another year, the Tigers ended up deciding to let him go. Tetteh is valued by Transfermarkt at €1.5m, so they even ended up getting a decent fee for his departure.

Sporting fullback Ruben Vinagre is now one step from completing his move for Hull City, according to reports.

In the past few days, stories from the Portuguese media have already been claiming the clubs have an agreement for the transfer, and then said he’d travel to England this week.

Now outlet Mais Futebol comes up to confirm that Vinagre has already landed in England. He arrived in the country today, and is now set to have his medicals and sign the contract for Hull City.

The fullback is joining the Tigers on a season-long loan deal from Sporting, and the Championship side will then have the chance to sign him by triggering a €15m purchase clause.

Vinagre wasn’t in the plans that Sporting manager Ruben Amorim had for the season, as he wasn’t even called up for the squad presentation. So that move to Hull ended up being a good way out for all parties.

The 24-year-old has some experience in English football due to his time playing for the likes of Wolverhampton Wanderers and Everton.

A couple of days ago, we saw reports from the Portuguese media claiming Hull City were in advanced talks to sign Ruben Vinagre from Sporting.

It was said by Record that the deal was ‘practically done’, as the fullback would join the English side on a loan deal.

Now as newspaper O Jogo features a story about this transfer today, they bring a few more details on the negotiations.

It’s claimed that Vinagre is indeed ‘on his way’ to Hull City, as the transfer is ‘very close’ to being confirmed.

The Tigers are reportedly signing the fullback on a loan deal, and will have an option to buy him for €15m next summer.

The player was not in Sporting’s plans for the new season, and wasn’t even called up by manager Ruben Amorim for the squad presentation this weekend.

O Jogo says that since he didn’t receive any offers from the Premier League this time, then he decided to move to the Championship by signing for Hull City.

Vinagre previously played in English football when representing Wolverhampton Wanderers and Everton.

Andrea Ranocchia spent most of his playing career in Italy, barring a short spell at Hull City.

The 35-year-old retired from professional football last September, just months after he joined Monza. An injury on his debut against Napoli convinced him to hang up his boots.

TuttoMercatoWeb had a detailed chat with the former defender, where he explained how the time spent at Hull City helped him.

The Tigers took the Italian on loan from Inter Milan towards the end of the winter 2017 market, when they were in the Premier League. Marco Silva was then in charge at the MKM Stadium.

Ranocchia made 16 league appearances for Hull City, scoring two goals and registering two assists in the process. However, he and his teammates weren’t able to stop the club from getting relegated from the Premier League during the 2016/17 season.

The former centre-back was reduced to a substitute role under Roberto Mancini’s time at Inter. When asked why he accepted this, he opened up about his loan spell at Hull City.

“The six months in England opened my eyes a bit, they made me understand that there is also another way of living and understanding football. That was a wonderful experience,” Ranocchia said.

“When I returned from Hull City, I didn’t know whether I would have stayed or not, Spalletti had just arrived. After a while Luciano said to me: ‘Look, I’m happy if you stay, give me a hand’. A good personal relationship was immediately created: I still feel it two-three times a month, we write [to each other].

“The human relationship is very important to me, more than the professional one. Because then I always thought that once I stopped, those relationships would remain.

“And today it is like this, it means that you have shown something good, but not by playing because everyone is good at playing in Serie A, I mean on a human level. Football is a difficult environment and, in my career, I have always favoured personal relationships.”

On transfer deadline day, Hull City looked set to sign Konrad De La Fuente on loan from Marseille.

The Tigers were trying to bolster their attack, and after the USA international’s first loan to Olympiakos didn’t go to plan, the idea was to repatriate him and then send him to the Championship side.

Everything seemed to be well on its way, until it wasn’t, and the reason for this has now been explained, with none of it being Hull City’s fault.

The news brought by Turkish journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu is that the Tigers ‘uploaded the documents to the TMS system’ well within the time frame, but Marseille and Olympiakos did not.

The two clubs needed to do that to show they were willing to break the original loan deal to allow De La Fuente to go to Hull City, but that paperwork didn’t arrive within the required timeframe.

Therefore, the Championship side didn’t get the player they wanted, and the forward is now stuck at Olympiakos, despite having not played there since September 11th.

Linked with Preston North End briefly, it’s Hull City who will be signing Konrad de la Fuente from Marseille on loan until the end of the season.

The player was initially sent on loan to Olymipakos this season, but hasn’t featured for them since September 11th, leaving the Ligue 1 side with the need to find him a new club.

He was reportedly offered around a few clubs in France, but it appears Hull City in England took a liking to the idea of signing the former Barcelona youth player.

That’s according to RMC Sport, who state he is now expected to sign for the Tigers once his loan with Olymipakos is officially broken off.

The idea here is for Hull City to sign him on loan, but the Championship side will also have the option to make the move permanent for €1.7m if they so wish.

Only time will tell if they plan on doing so, but a few good performances under Liam Rosenior could be enough to get him a new forever home in East Yorkshire.

Much like Wolverhampton Wanderers, Hull City are finding it a bit more difficult than first anticipated to replace their fired manager.

The Tigers got rid of Shota Arveladze, and the favourite to take over was Pedro Martins, currently without a job after leaving Olympiacos earlier in the year.

He even travelled to watch a Hull game, with many believing that he would sign sooner rather than later, but statements from both the Championship club and the Portuguese manager then emerged stating the parties weren’t able to agree on terms for him to take over.

That leaves the MKM Stadium residents without a man in charge, meaning the search continues, with names being thrown around as potential targets.

One of those has been Bruno Baltazar, currently in charge of Rochester NY in the MLS Next Pro, but the Portuguese hasn’t heard anything from Hull.

He was reached by A Bola, who asked him about the rumours, and he said: “So far, no one has contacted me. I’m honoured to be one of the hypotheses, of course. It’s true that I have experience of English football at Nottingham Forest, but for now they are baseless rumours.”

His time in England was as assistant manager to Sabri Lamouchi when the Frenchman was in charge of the Tricky Trees.

He spent just over a year there, having previously been the manager of AEL Limassol and APOEL Nicosia in Cyprus, as well as Estoril Praia in Portugal.
