When a striker scores 41 goals in his first two seasons in the Championship, some Premier League clubs tend to take notice, and that’s exactly what’s happened with Joël Piroe at Swansea City.

We’ve already covered claims that an offer from Leicester City has arrived for the Dutchman, but the latest from Italy, where Salernitana are keen, reveals that Everton and Nottingham Forest are also interested.

This comes from Tutto Salernitana as an exclusive, who cover the story from the angle that the striker is slipping away from the Serie A side, as the Toffees and the City Ground residents are interested in the Swansea star.

The Italian club have been trying to get a deal done for a while, but ‘an agreement has not been found’, as they want a loan with an option to buy, while the Swans want to sell.

Meanwhile, Tutto Salernitana have learned that Everton and Nottingham Forest have ‘fallen on the footballer’, and both Premier League sides could put ‘on the plate’ the amount requested by Swansea.

Not only that, but the Toffees and the Tricky Trees could also offer him an ‘important contract’, meaning that if Salernitana don’t move in the next few days, they could risk losing out on him.

Both Everton and Nottingham Forest will be wanting more goals in their team next season in a bid to avoid being in a relegation fight once again, and it seems they feel Piroe could be the affordable way to get those.

Leicester City have reportedly made an offer for Swansea City striker Joël Piroe.

The information comes from Dutch journalist Rik Elfrink, who does not reveal how much the Foxes have put on the table for the signing.

It’s just pointed out that after Piroe ‘scored like crazy’ for Swansea City in his couple of years at the club, Leicester City are just one of the clubs who’ve been interested in him.

Promising more updates later today, also Elfrink doesn’t say whether the Foxes’ bid will be enough to sign the 23-year-old.

Back in 2021, Swansea City spent €1.17m to sign Piroe from PSV. Now in two seasons for the club, he has 44 goals and eight assists in 92 appearances.

That’s why it’s no surprise that many clubs are interested in the signing, and with Leicester City now in the Championship, that may be an affordable signing for the Foxes.

Swansea City may be forced to sell because the striker’s contract with the club expires in the next summer. On Transfermarkt, he recently reached a peak price, and is currently valued at €10m.

Swansea City have joined Leicester City in the race to appoint Carl Hoefkens as their new manager.

The 44-year-old hasn’t returned to the bench since he left Club Brugge towards the end of last year. Journalist Sacha Tavolieri had earlier reported the Foxes’ interest in him.

Tavolieri now took to Twitter again to state Leicester will have to ‘face competition’ from Swansea to hire the Belgian.

He states Hoefkens has been ‘approached concretely’ by both Leicester and the Welsh club and the manager will ‘soon’ have to make a decision on his future.

Russell Martin is currently in charge at Swansea and recent reports in the UK have stated Southampton are keen on appointing him as their new manager. His exit would force the Swans to look for a new manager and this is where Hoefkens would be an option.

Earlier in April, Leicester appointed Dean Smith as their manager until the end of last season. The Foxes are reportedly looking for a new coach after their relegation from the Premier League.

With both Leicester City and Swansea City keen to hire Hoefkens, his final decision is now awaited.

Watford are one of the Championship sides who are interested in AS Roma youngster Bryan Reynolds, according to reports from the Italian media.

Calcio Mercato today features a story claiming there’s an ‘auction’ going on to sign the 21-year-old this summer.

It’s said that besides Watford, the likes of Hull City and Swansea City would like to bring him to the Championship as well.

But there’s now also interest from the Eredivisie, as Feyenoord are said to have joined the race for the signing.

Reynolds belongs to Roma but is actually having a loan at Westerlo which includes a buying option worth €7m. So the clubs who want him signed this summer still don’t know whether they’d need to negotiate with the Italian or Belgian side.

With Feyenoord playing Roma in the Europa League, it’s claimed that the clubs will certainly be talking about the transfer before their next encounter, as if Westerlo wouldn’t have a say on this in case the Giallorossi choose to negotiate the player.

The fact is that the race seems to be heating up, so Watford, Hull City and Swansea City better watch out for this Dutch competition as well.

On March 28th, journalist Tom Bogert explained Watford and Swansea City are showing interest Bryan Reynolds. Hull City have now joined the pair in the transfer chase.

The right-back is currently on loan from AS Roma at Westerlo, who have an option to make his stay permanent for €7m, according to Calciomercato.it.

It’s claimed the Belgian club will face competition from Watford, Swansea and Hull to buy the 21-year-old in the summer.

The Hornets and the Welsh club have been in the picture since January and have already started contact to secure the American’s services. The Tigers have now joined the race and have ‘officially expressed’ their interest in the defender.

It’s further claimed Hull are willing to consider buying the player and in the ‘coming days’, they will study an offer to send to the Giallorossi for Reynolds.

Roma general manager Tiago Pinto is ready to consider interesting proposals he’ll receive for the fullback in the summer.

With Hull considering sending a proposal, Watford and Swansea would have to act fast if they want to maintain the hope of acquiring Reynolds’s signature.

Watford and Swansea are today back on being linked to Bryan Reynolds.

The interest from the Championship sides had first been reported by journalist Tom Bogert in February. Back then, the 21-year-old had already been loaned from AS Roma to Belgian side Westerlo, who would like to keep him on a permanent deal.

Now the same source comes up with an update, once again speaking of Watford’s and Swansea’s chase for the player.

It’s reported that since Reynolds has picked up some caps for the United States’ national team, as well as being given minutes as Westerlo, that makes him eligible for a work permit for British football.

Bogert claims that the player ‘will leave’ Roma this summer, as besides Watford and Swansea, there are also clubs from Belgium, Netherlands ‘and more’ willing to sign him.

So as things stand, there’s no sign of a pre-agreement with Westerlo for a permanent deal, and that can only be good news for the only clubs who are interested in his signing this summer.

The fullback is currently valued by Transfermarkt at €2.5m, which should be more than affordable for teams such as Watford and Swansea.

Swansea City and Sunderland AFC are monitoring Aston Villa’s Morgan Sanson, according to a report from France.

The midfielder arrived at Villa Park from Marseille in January 2021 and his situation has been made difficult due to lack of game time.

Steven Gerrard has not handed him any minutes this season. The manager left the 28-year-old out of the squad for six matches and then left him on the bench for the last four league games.

According to Jeunes Footeux, the Frenchman is in ‘very great difficulty’ and his situation can no longer continue at Aston Villa. Therefore, he ‘wishes to leave’ the Premier League side in January.

Despite not featuring for the Villans, the player manages to draw attention from the Ligue 1 and the Championship. Swansea and Sunderland get a mention for the latter.

Lille and Strasbourg are very attentive of his situation at Villa. It’s said that Strasbourg are even working to take Gerrard’s man on loan in January, and they are also willing to pay part of his salary.

In addition to these two sides, Swansea and Sunderland are ‘interested’ in Sanson. The Welsh club and the Black Cats are also looking at the possibility to sign him on a loan deal in the winter market.

Leeds United and Swansea City seem to be in talks for the transfer of Joel Piroe, according to what’s being said in the Dutch media.

Eindhovens Dagblad journalist Rik Elfrink says these are ‘exciting hours’ for the former PSV player, as a late move in the transfer window ‘may be still a possibility’.

The reporter claims a ‘good source’ of his says there’s a chance the striker could still move to Leeds United, even though his connections at the Whites are still to confirm that.

This isn’t the first time the Elland Road side have been linked to Piroe, yet with no information on how much they could be paying for the transfer, we’re really left in the dark about what Swansea City could make with the move.

It was last summer that the Championship side signed the striker from PSV in a €1.2m deal. During his time at the Welsh club, he’s managed 26 goals in 54 appearances, including the two he already scored for them at the start of this season.

The Dutchman can play in multiple positions in attack, and with Leeds working hard to reinforce that sector this late in the window, he turns up to be a versatile option.

Swansea City star Hannes Wolf has opened the door to a permanent move to the club this summer after his loan spell.

The attacking midfielder joined the Championship side on loan in the January transfer window after finding himself out of favour at Borussia Monchengladbach.

He’s been a regular for Swansea since his arrival, making 18 appearances in all competitions, scoring two goals and registering three assists.

The deal does not include an option for Swansea to sign the 23-year-old permanently, meaning at this point he is set to return to Monchengladbach at the end of the season.

At this moment in time, that is a likely scenario, with the midfielder back in the picture given coach Adi Hütter, the man who had left him out, has now departed the club.

That could mean he is ‘in demand’ at the German club once again, but Wolf has opened the door to a permanent stay in Wales nonetheless.

“Football should always be fun in principle, but the two and a half years in Germany didn’t go quite as I’d hoped,” he told BILD.

“Of course, it’s much more fun when you play and are needed. Like it was the case in the last five months.

“First of all, this positive feedback from the fans in Swansea makes me very happy, and it also honours me. As things stand, I still have two years left on my contract at Gladbach.

“Now we have a break, and I’ll use it to recharge my batteries and start the new season well prepared. How it continues, the coming weeks will show; I will be well prepared for all possible scenarios!”

Borussia Mönchengladbach youngster Hannes Wolf is ‘about to sign’ with Championship side Swansea City as he looks to get regular playing time away from the German club.

That’s according to BILD, who back up reports from the UK that the Welsh club are about to secure the 22-year-old’s signature.

The German newspaper provides details on Wolf’s impending move to Wales, stating that he will arrive on loan until the end of the season.

Swansea will have ‘no option’ to sign the former Leipzig man on a permanent basis at the end of the loan deal.

That’s because Wolf’s plan is ‘clear’; he wants to ‘find his feet’ in Gladbach after getting regular game time with Swansea in the remainder of this season.

Swansea currently sit 17th in the table but have games in hand over those around them, meaning they can move quickly up the table if they pick up wins in those games.

Wolf could help with that, and BILD state that the Swans’ ‘very offensive’ brand of football means he should fit in well and ‘benefit’ from the deal.

Whether that is the case remains to be seen, but as has been reported, the Welsh side are close to sealing Wolf on loan until the end of the season.
